Had a good day overall just wish we all got there earlier... nearly midday by the time we started and then George had to leave at 3pm..

The dust was shocking and the first time there is decent rain that place is going to be off it's brain.

Great catching up with Lucas but I think it was a bit much for him near the end as he was starting to get very sore.

Will organise a day up there in the near future and get an earlier start!!!

Nah mate i forgot i was in low range untill i took off so i tried to get the wheels to spin to clean the mud from inside the grooves of the tyres. The mud in that patch was so sticky it instantly slicked the other boys tyres, as Lucas was saying we should have tried it in 4H maybe the others would have got thru aswell

Being that it was a virgin winch, crisp and clean, everyone involved in the winch process were holding the rope up as not to get it dirty.

When we finally finished I ran the rope through my hand under pressure, and the boys helped keep it clean.
Thanks to all and I'm glad my winch performed do well under all that load.

Hey piss off... I was feeling a bit delicate as I had only just got my car back and the first time I put it into 4wd I heard a funny noise from the gear box... a bit further up we stopped on a steep hill and I looked under the car to see oil pissing out of the back of the gear box where the tail shaft goes in.. Boots warned me about the seal but advised me it was not to hard a fix.

I think my gearbox barely ever got put into 4wd as the noise was not heard again for the rest of the day... the car is going back in tomorrow and also getting oil change done again with another oil filter.

I look forward to going out for a real play sometime soon.

Westy Yeah sheep lol. Just think it was a case of I'm better coz I NEARLY made it haha. But then an unnamed person made it in a fairly stock gu with lots of right foot haha

everyone bottomed out on their diff housing, but play you will.
don't think climbing out of the ruts was an option either, just needed to keep moving
