Nice car mate.
My former beast:

I sat in one today. Does that count? Haha... Can anyone guess what it is?
Hz Monaro????
I had a HQ, HZ and HX. The later two had a different dash to the HQ. A lot wider than the HQ. Plus the HQ one looks kinda sunken in more than the Z and X's. Door trims were all interchangeable and pretty much looked the same. Definitely a HQ...
I'll see if I can dig out the old pre digital photo's... lol
Reminds me of my brothers old LX torana hatch
Every time I see an XB I think of the mad max interceptor :)
Does a 1969 Holden Kingswood with a 186, Powerglide automatic count as a muscle car?
I didn't have a Monaro but my HQ had the Monaro dash in it and so did both my HZ and X.
HQ...

Man I wish I could find the pics of my old HZ Panel van. Fully decked out f&#k truck it was...
I had a 308 HZ premier wagon and the same dash as the second one.
Boronia Holden wrecked mine......

This was the ad to my first car. Bought it 3 months before I got my licence.
The 253 lasted about 6 months and a warm 5 lt went in and a set of 15x8 and 15x5 weld wheel pro stars, other than that it pretty much stayed that way till I sold it after 18 months. Even gave the new owner a rear bar fitted with ltd tail lights already to go in.
Between the boys in blue taking it off the road 3 unroadworthy stickers and the crooks breaking into it I sold it. What a mistake :banghead::banghead:
Gone through a few different types of cars over the years, but the q was the best this was my next best one.

Still doesn't show the true colour.
I have an orange xb gs that im restoring. got 2 clevos to choose from to rebuild for her with a t5 to back it up and a 2.77 lsd diff. its just a cruiser not a boy racer. thats what my turbo sedan's for. gota love the old muscle cars. theres just something about em even if they are horrible to drive there just awsome.
my father inlaw also has a xy ute with a stroked 302 windsor and a t5 followed by a 3.23 diff. its sounds sweet and is awsome to drive around.
Ok, here's the beastie XC that went to make way for the GU...
:frown:
PS: if you click them, they open the right way up...
And here's my current long term old girl.
She's 37...
Anyone guess what she did is?
And here's a short list of the nicer older cars I've had (even though you probably aren't interested)...
HQ Wellbody (253)
VK Calais (5lt)
VK Brock (5lt 5spd project in pieces, got it that way, and sold it that way)
VR Clubsport Wagon (5lt 5spd)
VR SS (5lt ex pursuit)
VT Clubsport (5lt 5spd)
VZ SS (still have)
Also babysitting a mates XC Fairmont (351) at the moment as he has no room at his place (small house, no parking room).
Lot of 'if I' or 'I wish' or 'I should' in the above list.
Oh well...
Use to have a 1978 HZ Premier S/wag 308 no mods other then extractors and exhaust, had a very nice sound that I miss very much
trying to find either a FB/EK wagon or a EH wagon. there is a paddock up
near where I go fishing chock a block with cars , whether or not I can find one is another thing.
Wish is to put a V6 holden and auto in it and use it as a daily,
But been a Ford man after seeing Moffat and Murray Carter tearing around Bathurst
and some upstart in a Torana
I wish I had one of these in V8
