what about those who can make xmas/new year post when they can make it and i can decide from there? also we could do an australia day run down at whitehills so that will give our southern members a chance to catch up, thoughts??

I'm not back from site until the 20th but after that is all (at this stage until the war office tells me different) free. Keen for a catch up!

If you live north of Perth you should make it to geraldton on one tank and if you don't do much driving at kalbarri you'll get away with 3-4 tanks up there. We used 4 tanks from bunbury to kal and back in my patrol getting 500km per tank
Just worked it out, just under 1200ks there and back, so looking at a minimum of 3 full tanks if I'm lucky and what ever I use up there.
I really do want to come for a run with you guys but we are away from 26th until the 5th in shark bay...

Well the weekend 4th, 5th of Jan is a no goer for me now, the missus has made other arrangements :(............ Possibility of being available for a night run on Friday 3rd.
Not able to do anything this side of Xmas and New Year due to going to Kalbarri on the 27th. Her in doors doesn't want me to risk breaking anything before we go.

Ok the 30th mon is locked in for us there will be my old man ( 6.5L fj ), Dazzi ( 4.8 gu ) & Patric ( 4.2 troopy ) so we are going to need a few more patrols to come along and pull the toymotors around. Lol. Am also looking for advise of where to go if there is any other places other than the dunes and the power lines. Hopefully up north somewhere, otherwise we were just going to go up towards yanchep/quins in the dunes I think it's called wilbinga or something.
