More mods - Yeahhhhhh

Well DX grunt went in for a service and I thought..... "While you're there, with the truck up on the hoist"...... I had the tie down hook removed and a proper recovery points fitted to both sides of the undercariage.

I can now start charging for recoveries!

Toyota's = 1 carton
Everybody else = mates rates LOLOLOLOL

They also picked up the fact I had my CB velcro'd to the dash. Oops. Not police friendly I'm told (lol).
Anyway, they fixed that too and my wiring for my mobile phone.

They also got my spot light working and took all the water out of my headlight - without having to tell them. I'm so happy :D.

Stay tuned for some more mods before Christmas.

If you haven't done the air horns yet, my preferred location is inside the bull bar. I don't like cluttered engine bays.
Not sure if there's room in your bar, and it may not be good if you take your truck swimming, but it's worth thinking about.

My next mod is on it's way as we speak. Took a while to save up for, but my new fridge/freezer will work a treat.
Did lotsa research and made a decision. Need extra fridge/freeza space when we go to the city for viddles.
Gotta keep our food cold/frozen till we get back to the bush. lol

Yeah I was thinking of a smaller one, but for the distances we have to travel in the WA heat with perishables in the boot, I bit the bullet and went for the big one.

Our nearest big shopping centres with lots of variety is about 170k's away.

You can never go overboard when talking about a fridge mate - you'll be the envy of every man and his dog on big trips (forum meetup as an example) when they are all running 60klm's to the nearest town to get supplies and you are well and truly stocked up!!!
