yea there was screw on the bottom and I did open it.
The torq4x4 guys are on my side.
They are just as surprised as I was.
No the lights were not on at the time.

Murray and Dave will sort you mate - they shouldn't have taken a gob full of water, so warranty claim is the go. xxx sell enough gear and have enough of a reputation that this shouldn't happen ...
I found out why the lights flooded.

There is a gromit that was not sealed (see the rubber thing on the wires.)
