Thought I would mention
have booked a trip on to Bribie Island tommorow,
We are picking up the permits from the newsagent at Woorim.
There are 3 lagoons on the way up and they are hard to cross. except for about 2 hours each side of low tide when the water crossings shallow out.
We will be about 3 hours after low tide, so may not get across.
Going with my son Dave who has a Jeep with a winch. so will have to wait and see what it's like.
We may be fishing at the first Lagoon outlet.

Well done mate, glad it's all sorted, was just about to bring up the "compensating spring"
The GQ. had a problem with pulling left, I fitted a weak spring from the chassis near the steering box to the track rod.
Problem solved.
Cheers, the ferret.

I see you are a fellow Queenslander - any tendency to swing to the left seems to have become a lot less prominent lately :-)
04OFF has taken some spectacular photos of vehicles at those crossings when people have crossed them, or not, at higher stages of the tide

I thought maybe it was a fluke, but the car is still running straight as a die..

Have read these offset swivel bearings causing the axle to prematurely wear the diff oil seals.
Read it on here somewhere I think.
