Over the last ten years I've been with the company we have been with Telstra, 3, Hutchison and now Optus. Previously we had 500mb plan, then 1gb and now 2gb. I have always been amazed how little these mobile devices use. You also have to remember most apps and websites have been utilised for mobile devices so they use less data and load up quicker.
An example of my usage. my work and home email are on constantly, I use the mobile device for email and data during work hours constantly as I'm on the road a lot. I will use it to get onto our technical website by ways of phone hotspot all day long. Even download firmware for our machines which can be 10-15mb(rare). Hotspot is on all day.
Over the whole month I would be lucky to use up 300mb.
Now if you download porn all day long and 100 songs a day, Yes you might blow your limit quickly and pay severely(big$$$) but for everyday email and internet use no problems.
It all depends what you do with your mobile device and if you do go over the limit you might as well remorgage your house as the penalties are crazyand
Righto, I need to ask a dumb Ipad question too...LMAO
I'm new to GPS's. The closest I get to navigating is using Rooftop maps that tear every single time you try and open them up which end up being held together by sticky tape and have beer and coffee stains....You get the point...lol
If I get an Ipad can I load on GPS software for my local state forests and use that for navigating....Ipad newbie!
Would I still need to plug the Iphone into the Ipad to get Igps...lol
yes yes and yes ab (I think), wasn't NissanKid running his on an Ipad???
