I just have the earth disconnected when the Patrol is sleeping in the garage and connect it back up when i want to take it for a burn...

I was thinking that might be the case, but just wanted to be sure and thanks for the info it confirmed what needs to be done.

What switch did you end up useing, i never thought off the load being used to start up

Well i found two faults pulling fuses, one was a wiring loom to a old lightbar with an inline fuse, fixed
the other is a fuse Attachment 88626 for some reason highlighted yellow says ( Battery 7.5 amp Elec Parts ) so i pulled that one as well
So my Paracitic draw has gone all good but i have not found anything that is not working (as yet) that is run from the 7.5 Battery Fuse Elec Parts and why is that fuse highlighted
Yellow i am sure there must be a reason, has anyone had issuses with this fuse. Its the last of the 2006 models literally one of the last ones built Dec 2006, no computers i believe, no NATS Immobilizer (nervously removed with very big hammer and screwdriver when i shit it self ) and the light is still flashing under dash matt ? but that fuse is a mistery at the moment.

NATS just when i thought that problem was gone, i believe that fuse is number 24 and i think it is part of the NATS system which got the hammer so mabe it's confused i dont know
i will just have to wait and see.
