I was told exactly that same thing when I fitted the 12mm pump but I find it struggles a bit now sitting at lights and what not on these hot summer days. So much so I'm going to the extra effort to refit the bits I took off. Each to their own :)

Glad you sorted yours out too mate. That's what this forum is about !!

For what it's worth. My AC is same regardless of rpm and ambient temps.
If yours struggles a tad without higher revs it may need other attention, possibly regas ?

It may need a re-gas. But it was fine before I tore all the aircon bits off and it's fine as soon as we're moving and there's a few extra rev's and air flow.

So I'll put the bits back on and save the re-gas for another couple of years haha.
