I contacted the +ve in two different points in the circuit, 1. switch output to fan, 2. input to fan, and I attempted both arrangements with the multimeter grounding to eather the -ve on the switch or a metal earth (that other things are earthing to so I know it is actually and earth).
But no voltage at all.
I crossed the +ve a couple of times to other electronics that had power and got a strong 25v
