Pop up adds on forum - Read here

Just double checking.

Is this using an app like like forum runner or using the safari browser or any internet browser in your iPads?

Yep safari mate, mine is the same, when you scroll it just keeps flashing the banner but when you stop it just sits there.

Using Safari, and only when on the forum. All the other open safari tabs are fine.

Is your iPad up to date with the latest updates?

Sometimes they put in bug fixes and fix up security issues.

Fwiw I'm on my iPhone typing this and I don't have any pop up adds or flashing banners. Using safari too

I'll check with my iPad tonight when I get home from work, I don't think I've ever viewed the forum through Safari on it.
Actually I use Chrome on the iPad rather than Safari anyway, so I'll check both! Sounds like it might be a Safari thing.

Running the latest update on iPad and they still appear. Only appear on the Nissan Forum, checked two other forums and no adds.

If people are getting this on the pc or laptop there is ad blocker add-ons or programs you can download for free. I use Firefox on all pc's and laptops and I use Adblock plus with great results.

Are you using Motorculture to view the forum? Or using a web browser?
In MC I get a ad down the bottom of the screen but have never bothered with it....

On my iPad the pop ups are intermittent. When was reading this thread they were present whilst on the first page but then dissapeared when moved to the second page. I have noticed this also on other threads, although not necessarily always clean on the second page. It does vary from page to page. Sometimes they are on the "New post" page, sometimes not.
