You lost me at Hello! WTF is a DNS?

Domain name system.
Not a biggee for most but if you have smallish Internet Plans... just be aware that if you use dns spoofing and are with an ISP who doesn't meter Netflix downloads then the metering cannot recognise Netflix to the dodgy dns so it counts on your internet useage.
If you have a large data plan it doesn't matter at all really
From what I have read Netflix has onlt around 2000 movie titles compared to Netflix in the USA which has over 7000 movie titles. It will get larger as time goes by but this will pull the reigns in on Poxtel.
Telstra are metering Netflix, and I hear that iinet and optus aren't. I have a 100gb per month Telstra plan but unfortunately due to location, if I want internet then I have to use Telstra.
We only have adsl and is streaming well it seems from the wife.
The free trial is only low definition so possible more issues with the higher def.
We ditched pay tv ages ago.
Long story short at the end of it all they offered me $100 package for $13 a month.
I questioned if they were going to pay me next lol.
Netflix is no adds aswell.
Free to air is struggling, I don't think Netflix will replace free to air like Austar and Foxtel want to.
But they have to stop being greedy. Charging a but load and smashing adds aswell. I don't pay for adds.
Anyway. Wife has it via laptop atm threw a hdmi cable to tv, but we did discuss the chrome cast dongle to allow any device to stream to the tv.
Lucas, can you stream games from your device over the chrome cast??
Should not have been allowed to start up here without paying taxes in this country IMO
You can cast your screen but it is a little slow. Not really what its meant for, its pretty much meant to pull feeds off the internet that you tell it to. ie youtube
I agree but honestly small fish compared to a company like apple that sells physical products here and pays bugger all tax
