Thanks Chad, it's not an Alpine it's a factory fitted Eclipse AVN827GA (stereo/GPS/DVD/USB)....I had thought about something that you are doing, but, it will Bluetooth my phone for handsfree and music but nothing else (can't install Android/Iphone apps)

Thanks for the idea though
