Mudrunner did you get yours from ARB? Looks like a good piece of kit.
I want to get stuck into repairing the bolts this Saturday and if that goes to plan, install the drop boxes on Monday, dont like all this wandering over the road business!

Another hint which will make the job easier & faster.
The outer two bolts can just be drilled out & nuts fitted above the factory threaded nut. Saves trying to tap a new thread ;)
Cheers
You can get them from all over the place to be honest, ARB would probably not be on my list as you will pay a premium there. Try Jaycar, Supercheap, Got mine from Strathfield car radio, they give them away with 4wd Action subs too, Even Aldi have them occasionally. Good luck.
That link i posted goes to the supplier and you could likely get one over the net pretty easy if you have trouble.
I ended up getting one today from ARB, it was supposed to be $105 but I paid $1.05, love check out stuff ups!
It loosened 2 bolts but broke another captive one :( cant afford to brake anymore so I will leave it till saturday. Very handy tool and can see myself using it a lot!
Well drop boxes in.
Took it for a drive and 1 km down the road it started shuddering and vibrating loudly.
Turned out to be the rear tailshaft rubbing on the chassis stiffener near the transfer case :( The drop boxes have dropped the cross member by 10mm so now I have to find some spacers to lift the gearbox approx 10mm off the cross member :(
Never heard of anyone requiring this before after installing drop boxes, I am over looking at the underside of my vehicle!!!!!!!!
Have you reversed the rear tailshaft so the smaller diameter section is at the front?

No, is that required with drop boxes? Will that put it out of balance?
It's required with any big lift and has no ill effects on balance.
