I think they utilise holes already in the mount.
It is illegal by law to modify a chassis without engineering so I'd say it would be a bolt in product
Yeah, it is bolt in. Couple on top and the main two slot in under the bump stops.
Just go to town with some Tectyl or similar between the Boss and the underside of the shock tower. Otherwise it is very straight forward and comes with simple instructions.
yes i have them on my wagon too, and another guy over here just bought some after seeing mine, good product.
Yep, have a set on my GU IV, took my mechanic 1/2 hour to install, easily done. So far so good. Doing 8500 ks over the next 2 months towing the camper through some rough (and smooth) country, that will be the test for me.
Check out this youtube clip, installation tips.

I'll be ordering a set tomorrow. Nice, simple and looks effective.
FNQGU is it Tectyl 506 Rust Preventative you recommend to spray on before fitting the brace.
That is what I used, but really any of those sorts of products. I just didn't want moisture sitting up there between the plates. I think they recommended it in the instructions too from memory.
I received a call from FNB4WD yesterday to say they were picking up a batch of the braces from the electroplaters. Looking forward to receiving the kit in the mail this week.
Hmm, this is something on my to do list. Towing my camper I always worry about this...
