you don't even need to do that. A simple wire from the battery positive to the solenoid (as it earths through its body) and she starts.

I drive a tb48. Any thief would have to put fuel in it to steal it...
Problem around here is that the pricks use tow trucks....
ok I have an idea for a lock need someone with a pipe bender and a welder and a bit to make some locks for our trolls I have designed it and given it a name just been to lazy to make some. pm me if your interested and it will make the tow thiefs angry as well.
That was my experience with the HSV. No security system in the world can stop a tow truck, the tracking system however was enough to recover the car and lead to a conviction. In that instance I was using a commercial tracking service which included the ability to remotely turn off the car
The problem these days is the real pros use GPS and other signal jammers (which are relatively available now).
I do agree with Clunk too, it's not a great idea to let any potential thief know what security measures you have in place via this forum.

Worrying thing is if they can't steal it they smash it and trash it. Had my daily drive done a few years back. Came back from a show, all windows broken and tyres down. Cops just said it was a bad area. For Perth peeps, it was in Burswood in a well lit street.
