I can understand why he wanted it back, that Lure was so good it obviously even works on humans.....
A friend and I walked the Jardine years ago waist high water,
swear black and blue I was being watched, funny bit was the driver had to walk back across to get the 4x4.
Plenty of signs all over the top end in different languages telling of the danger.
as for my crossing I was young bulletproof and an idiot, never again a guy was taken at the ferry a few years later
