I'm taking baby steps with my sand driving, plus this is a missus friendly couple of days for me :). Had I not already been booked, id be there with bells on. Just another case of to many things to do and not enough hours.

Understand mate, no probs, more chance of finding something to test out the KMs on straddie tho (he-he)
As for sand driving, just let your tyres down to 20 PSI (or lower if its real soft) , and try not to spin the wheels, have faith in your Patrol , it will eat it up and get you anywhere you need to go !
And for the record, unless a trip is posted as a "boys" weekend (lucky if thats once a year), it will be 100% a family friendly trip, all of the regular trip goers i can think of, all have great wives and partners, they welcome any new faces with open arms. :smiley_thumbs_up:
I'm out we have a 40th to go to:mad::animierte-smilies-f
Is Straddie byo firewood?
May be interested either just me or jen and I. Flinders is the dog friendly beach isn't it? If so we have a better chance of coming no dog sitter for us. I work at yarraman and stay on the point haven't had much of a chance to explore yet
