Probably made with recycled rusty nails from Aussie building sites :tease:
Certainly not a good look. Having iron man plastered all over the roof rack with a lot of rust stains running down the car from it. I know I wouldn't want to buy a product that did that to my car.
It's up to the retailer to fix the problem. I'd ask for a replacement too.
i wonder if the product called CLRwill remove the stains
remember the adverts it removed rust stains from bath and on wall
and calcium build up in coffee pots
can get from hardware stores even bunnings
Not good. Ironman do post on here and are members of this forum. I have my troll booked in Monday for a 1200 winch and grabbing a 65L fridge freezer at the same time. I would like to think they do the right thing or I will have to re think my purchases.
No more hand balls ironman. If you take our cash do the right thing.
Marty Darwin.
Maybe squirt some LANOtech up the holes , I love this stuff and eco friendly.
I suspect the holes are there to prevent pressure build up if fully welding
could try a bit an an out the way place
It's your roofrack & car & by all means try to sort it, but if you do it will stuff any possibility of Ironman sorting it or offering a refund, not unreasonably. I would suggest not rushing into anything, contact Ironman direct & give them a reasonable opportunity to respond, before deciding your next step. They have to have the chance to see the problem & the damage caused. Alternatively fix it yourself as best you can, & leave it at that. Any manufacturer can produce something that falls below standard from time to time, it's how they deal with it when brought to their attention which should determine their reputation.
