Great idea the fold down fridge slide, but $650 I'm not sure
Well made, hell yeah but $650 Not sure.
can see plenty of thought has gone into it so maybe the $650 is to recover
some of that thought process Hope it has a good Patent {world wide}
as some, not me would love to jump on it I would think. Msa brought it
off the original maker from memory didnt they.
Has anyone brought a new fridge and they have thrown one in with the deal.
1994 paid $1000 I think for 40 ltr Engel transit bag and slide, slide just parked now
as found the transit base suited my needs better.
I have an MSA drop down slide that hold an 80 litres fridge/freezer and it is absolutely brilliant, it makes life so much easier and even when totally full it is a breeze to pull it out and put it back..... I recommend it to anyone.
Scotty
Well, if Scotty has one I guess I had better start saving.
You know what they say, "He who dies with the most toys wins" my missus recon's I must hate losing,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

ladder is just extra weight just use the spare, if you cant get a grip to stand on it you need new tyres

Sure does lol
I have a drawer system and the 1st thing I got was a drop down fridge slide for my 60 litre engel fridge/freezer...........bloody brilliant
I think you probably still need the $10 ladded to reach the first step of the door ladder so you could get the $10 ladder you have stored handy on the roof. :)
Also, with me I think it would need to be $20 or $30 ladder. Ha ha. The "light" chinese jobs don't tend to last too well with me (bit like the folding camping chairs).
I like the idea of the drop slide but $650 would go a long way with many other more urgent mods I reckon. I just climb onto the back step to get into my fridge (on standard style homemade slide). Then it is also the right height to comfortably stack stuff on the roof rack while sorting it into the fridge.
