Is there a camo vinyl wrap ?? Or just carbon fibre vinyl wrap it
I work for another spare parts shop so I wouldn't buy anything from supercreeps no matter what! IMO they're just a total rip off (we hear several times a day that our prices are cheaper) and what they do sell cheap is total shit.
A vinyl wrap would be too expensive, as with most things, we get gouged in Australia, I've seen vinyl wraps installed in the states for $500-$700 for big trucks, the few suppliers I've approached here were talking well into the thousands, just for vinyl, and the same again for install. I did a carbon bonnet wrap on my other car and it wasn't hard, but it was a PITA. I found it's not really hard wearing, either, but I did buy cheap Chinese vinyl as it was just a temporary fix until I respray the car.
I do have the option to get 4L of drab olive and spray the truck, then go to a vinyl cutter and have the camo brown/black/grey/greens cut, stuck on and then ill spray the KBS clear over that as long as it won't react.
I'd probably rather do all paint, though, less hard work if I want to remove it or change it. I might use automotive paint and spray the base and use cheap Clint's spray cans for the camo. That'll save a few bucks, I guess.
if you seriously want to go cammo, above pic is over the top. It wont even bend in with the local terrain the pic was taken in.
The Army used a few base colours in the Landrover period.
Drab olive green,
Sand yellow of sorts
SAS pink
There is also a redish colour
After that you get the other colours.
Note all are matt.

Have fun, remember 'KISS' in your paint job.
Yes definitely want matt colour. As luck would have it I mixed 1L of drab olive today for a military bike and decided it would be my base colour. I think it will look awesome on the truck, especially as I don't have any chrome on it, and everything is black. The guy was in Aus army and is going to get in touch with his buddies and give me codes of the colours used on tanks/landies so I can mix them up.
I'm not overly worried bout blending in, it's just for effect and to make my truck stand out (the exact reason camo is applied!) as there are a few white trolls in my area that trespass and do naughty things on private property. I want to make sure mine isn't mistaken for one of those.
