Touch up paint

Parksy, good luck in finding the correct colour match for your Patrol,
and Mick, thanks to clearing up how they managed to match the colour on my Saab so accurately, I wondered why they had to borrow it for a few minutes - they must've used one of those spectrometers on it !

Someone put all the colour codes up on the forum while back. Might find them if you do a search.

Nail polish works to if you can find one close enough. lol

When I used to do brush touches on cars that where metalics or pearls I used to put clear nail polish over the top so they didn't have a dull spot.

So what's the go with metallic paints. Can you just sand back the area, prime in. Then rub back surround area then use these spray packs to blend the colour in and seal it?
Or do they not work for metalic paints?
