Tigerz11 side awning thoughts.....

IMO I'd be steering clear of that brand, save your money they don't cost a fortune, look at what all the other 4x4 are fitting.
Personally I have a 2.5 TJM fitted, cant fault it but I'm a bit biased, didn't cost an arm or a leg . Read what "lorrieandjas" say
goes for more than just awnings. these products have to be able to withstand the rigours of the Aussie Outback short and sweet.
If it cant cut the mustard don't buy it. A lot of my products I was able to give to Club members to try on their trips around Oz, across the Simmo or up
the Cape. If I didn't get it back I know it failed and re designed it ,more over engineered would be the term, but it needs to last more than one trip to be a winner
of product of the year. Do your homework too many threads here saying I spent 2 cents on this and it broke Doh. Even talk to people at the supermarket ppl are only too glad to share with you what worked ,what didn't or should've brought this, you'll be surprised try it, goes for everyone also.

I'll probably put my hand a bit deeper into my pocket and go either the SupaPeg to match my rear one or get the Rhino Sunseeker.
I've read enough now on the forum to reinforce my own general belief of getting what you pay for. Most expensive is not always best though.....I generally like the middle road.

Kept buying those cheap canvas type seat covers but today got myself the R.M Williams covers and they are worth the dollars.... really impressed with them for the price.

I really am trying to no longer buy all this crap.

They were $199 but I got them down to $155.

I know they are not top of the line but compared to the $60 ones I go through these are a big step up.

Hey ba I had the same prob with my egt and boost gauge bought them off flea bay and not even 6mnths later the led's stopped working, I sent at least 10 msg's to the seller and they just ignored them, I complained to eBay and they told me I should have tried to sort it out with the seller, as if I didn't even attempt to.

Just got direct contact information for the seller so now I have to ring them directly and if they dont play ball I will then go the next bloody step.
