right finally got a pic of my patrol
http://i547.photobucket.com/albums/h...psb8626ae4.jpg
greenlaning is going out and driving tracks from around 200 years ago as they have never be reclassified by uk laws they are legal rights of way some will take you through farmers fields others will take you through old quarries and other landmarks we use gps and some software called memory map which has full ordance survey maps on them so as long as we stay on the lane even if it goes through a farmers field then we cant get proscuted if we stray off the lane then we may get proscuted
I belong to a club called northern monkies in the uk and we tend to go out in groups of 4/5 trucks if the lane we are on in through a farmers field then we shut gates behind us and are courteous to other users like ramblers and motobikers we are not allowed to go above 10mph while on a lane some lanes can be quite easy and others can be quite technical to tranverse

Cool, now we need some video of the northern monkies:)
Your patrol looks like what we call an MK here. In Australia, the MK came for a brief time after the MQ. It can be recognised by the square headlights (the MQ had round lights).

thanks that makes sense with being called a 260 here in the uk it would appear may of allready said this that they are a facelifted 160 and were built in Spain untill late 91
dont think too many of them were built for the uk market so in the area where i live in the uk its the only I know in the area which i think gives it some character
the later one that the uk had is the gr which were mainly deisels engine's but i would have paid 3/4 times what i paid for this one and my budget would not stretch to that if only budget was not a consideration lol
video footage of northern monkies in action not sure i have any but can most likely dig out some pics of some of the runs out I have been on although as of yet not taken the patrol out so they will show some of my previous 4x4's although saying that if you were to search for northern monkey offroading on youtube I am sure you would find some video footage as i know there is some on there
cheers

here a few pics of one of the laning trips i have been on think there was 10 trucks and we did the same route but 20 mins apart so if first group hit any problems then they had time to clear before second group arrived end of day ended up at a pub for a chat and a drink
