Mine is SOOOOO good it hasn't got a brand name ;-) However a bloke I worked with who is a mechanical engineer did his thesis at uni on fasteners. He told me a torque wrench can be plus or minus 10% this came about when an auditor wanted calibration reports in his torque wrenches. Also affected by the operator
Auditor won regardless hahahhaa
Here's mine anyway got newton meters and foot pound

Ok so this one looks like a good one for $99.00
Do you remember if it clicks and releases the presure when torque is reached.

When the torque is reached it will click, don't know of any torque wrenches that releases the presure when the torque is reached. But then again I have not used many torque wrenches

I've got the Sidchrome one here .. does the clicking when you reach the torque setting, but doesn't release pressure.

A vid I watched suggested the deflecting beam may be more accurate as there are no coils under pressure like the "classic" ones .. but it's the first time I've used one so who knows.
Just used it to mount the recovery point .. worked a treat. I think it was around the $100 -$150 you were looking at
