Love my Millweld bar, one of the best mods so far.
This is my custom rear bar now painted hamertone black after being sand blasted and fully welded not just stitched like in the photo. was already on the gq when i bought it
That does look exceptionaly tidy.
I wonder if those plates/ below and outboard of the reversing lights are intended to be used as recovery points? Or is the hitch pin or a hitch recovery accessory intended to be used for that, and the plates are tie downs?
It would spoil the look, and perhaps this was never intended to be used for towing, but rather for recovery, but that loop under the centre of the hitch receiver appears to be for attaching safety chain. I'm too creaky in the joints to enjoy using that, I suspect. Access to the pin also looks doable. As I said above, anything that would make access easier would spoil the look, and the trade off makes sense.
nice! these look really neat!
I have an ARB one, but this looks shit loads better.
Its simpler too!
the bloody ARB ones are very complex to install.. took me two days.
but at the time i coulnt find anything better...
I know this post is from ages ago but did anyone find out where the GQ bar was made?
I actually like my ARB one...
Might have something to do with the good price I got it for plus the legend of a man I bought it off helped me fit it in about an hour...
