You can import pictures (jpg's etc) of paper maps into ozi, and then calibrate them.
We do it all the time for radio coverage maps at work.
All you need is a minum of 2 referance points
I'm struggling to open up these img images. All my programs tell me the files are not compatible...Ive opened IMG's before.

I'm pretty sure shonky works with ozi straight I out of the box. That's what I'm using at the moment.

Thanks mate, that's the $99 one I found originally but I don't think It's a free license to distribute.
Thanks mate, yeah thats also an original one I found which has minor contour lines and you can only zoom in a little bit and the images saved are extremely fuzzy with little info unfortunately.Quote:

Also, that Garmin one is proprietary Garmin format. I kind of need them in standard GIS format (TIFF, etc.).
Struggling to convert those ones too...
