ok manny thanks i will do the compression test tomorrow and hope its not that as a new head mm cant imagine how much that will be or even if its worth spending tat amount on it mmm
It does have lift and front locker rock sliders winch ect but most of this can go on a new rig also
Similar thing happened to TONKA'S Truck, His problem was the turbo. PM him and he will fill you in.

hello again i have just done the compression test all 6 cylinders came up at 420psi??
so doesnt look like a head prob? where to check next?? please help could it be the fuel pump?

Could be the fuel pump there is an advance plate on the side which is cheap to replace (could be this) I think "the ferret" sells these. Sounds like your engine is in good nic. Try the advance plate and check your pump timing. To check the turbo pull both intake and exhaust off the turbo check there isnt excessive play in turbo shaft or any oil on the exhaust side of the turbo. If the turbo has failed you would get blue smoke as well and wouldnt effect it to much at start up as the turbo isnt doing anything at idle. Also when your driving there would be a lot of black smoke as well. Check your pump timing and replace advance plate see how you go.
ok do you have a number or email for the ferret at all as to get a advance plate and does he also reco the pumps?
Check the vendors thread he is there. I dont think he does pumps but wouldnt hurt to ask. Also it wouldnt hurt to check your engine timing make sure everything lines up with the marks when your engine is on TDC
yer engine timing is good as had done the belt and water pump 4 months ago but ill take the cover off again
just treyed looking for vendors? no luck there
