Oooohh ohhhh hey DX, fancy winning the pucker up trophy this year in the WPC awards? Hahaha
ill second that good one lucas
Nice looking collection. Good taste getting that Stihl. Remember everyone quality tools will pay for themselves many times over. Nothing worse than snapping the tool that you desperately need and finding no one else is carrying one. There may be one in the box but if not I really reccomend carrying a hacksaw (A good one not some el cheapo that won't cut straight).
a few things that I carry in my kit:
- self amalgamating rubber tape
- 12v soldering iron (60w)
- vise grips
- big pliers
- screwdrivers
- socket set 1/2" drive. A Toolex set as the ratchet has a thin handle you can get a breaker on if you need to
- hacksaw
- radiator/tank repair kit
- duct tape
- various screws
...plenty more but these are worth having
here goes....
- Jumper leads
- different sized hose clamps
- cable ties
-electrical tape
- "rescue tape" (awesome stuff)
- butane powered soldering iron
- multimeter
- coat hangers, couple strips of aluminium
- plastic tank repair kit
- hatchet
- Rubber mallet, Ball pein hammer
- Chainsaw if needed
- small folding bow saw
- hack saw, file
- sockets, spanners, pliers, screw drivers
- A second bottle jack, 2 base plates
- Sand tracks made out of a milk pallet (not milk crates) x 4.......... ( i actually havnt made this yet, its sitting in my mates shed waiting for me)
- All the usual recovery gear, tirfor type winch
- misc screws nuts bots and washers
- misc wire/cable/connectors/switches and fuses
Above all else there are 2 things which have served me best.......... a cup of tea and my gerber multi tool :)
