Here is a link to the one i have bought. The special price is a legitimate sale as the same bender by other sellers is the non discounted price. I was happy that it bends beyond 90 degrees as most this size and bigger that are Not Pan Brakes will only go to 90 degrees.Quote:

That Shear on the other hand is Pretty Bloody Good mate!!! i have used it to cut the same 1.5mm sheet metal, needed to trim a heap of brackets taking 5mm off one end. Glorious! I then used it on the 3mm Ally plate and it ate that up prettty easy too. Beast of a thing. Really needs to be bolted down though to give it a red hot go which mine is not but stoked so far.Quote:

You need to buy an engine stand now to mount it on. So you can be fully mobile with it for long sections and bending. Also can utilise the ability to rotate the bender for tight area manipulation.
very nice gear. A long time ago, I was dead keen on making custom front bars for 4x4's and had a very good look at that speedwerx stuff, it's very nice. The idea never got anywhere. Congrats Daz.

Have only just got home Daz, opened and closed them a few times, they are very 'positive' in action, just like a pair of vice grips. The throat is adjustable for height of final clamp. The wire stripper function is also adjustable, so you can set the stripper jaws exactly to the right diameter without needing the feel of a thousand butterfly eyelashes.
Back to the cable ties....................................they dont have that big lug that yours has, hence they appear to be less usable for that function, but they do release ok.
