Ok, so the heater core turned up... But it's nothing like my old one ;( I ordered of through Repco over the phone based on size measurements alone. The size is close but the end tanks are on the wrong sides to ever fit, and the connections are wrong. Is there a difference between maverick and patrol heater cores? Attachment 22397

I have no idea about any patrol/maverick differences but Ive had bad luck buying from repco let alone buying from them over the phone:-(.
A good thing about internet buying is you can usually see a picture of the item.

Well the replacement heater core never arrived, so I made something to do. :) started cleaning the floor of the patrol, lucky I did because I found a little bit of rust and the reason as to why the rear doors light switches never worked lol.

looking good, what did you use to clean the floor?
-
Sponge and water :) wet and dry vac to help dry it up. Had to go over it a couple of times to get it clean, I used some car wash in the first was and just water after that, oh I also had the hose trickling in there to wash the soap away.

Nice, are you going to coat it with anything like sound deadener? Or just fix up the rust

Not sure, I'll probably just fix the rust some how. So much to do, so little time to do it. It will probably just end up being fixed and painted black again.

Ok so yesterday I got around to pulling the LPG system off the patrol, was pretty easy but I couldn't tell you where all the wires hooked up :/ . I have so much clearance out the back now, I was always catching the tank on the entrance to big holes. Anyone know of there are rules/laws for how I have to set up my filler necks? I was planning on having one filler cap and the hose splitting into two just after the cap so you can put the filler nozzle into each tanks hose. I was going to do away with the crap in the filler nozzle that only lets you use an ULP bowser and just have an open hole with two pipes in it. Attachment 22586

Well the patrol is back together and the new mud shovels have been fitted. I think I'm in love with the new stance that the Procomp 51 series 15"x10"-76mm rims give the patrol. Attachment 22828
In this first pic I only have the 10's on the rear and 8's on the front, I ordered 3 more 10's today so I can have one as a spare also.
