Apologies for the delay bud, first off I must say that i`m not that great at landscape photography, o4OFF would be better placed to give better feed back to be honest.
Saying that, the norm for landscape is to have foreground interest and background interest. The low lying island in the background is a bit bland to be honest. So ,maybe, take a few steps back and get more of the branches into the foreground, may be lying down to take the shot would have given a differing perspective? Lose some of the background and get more foreground interest including more of the branches shapes and curves.
Hope that helps a bit.

Rather than screw the other thread up, i`ll post some pics of Europe with details.
This is taken in Bamberg, Germany. A stunning place that was one of the few German cities not to get bombed during WW2. I`ve been to Germany many times, there is very little anomosity, but you always get some idiots.

Stats say that 50% don`t make it through the first winter due to a lack of hunting skills. We are seeing more in the towns now were we have loads of bloody pigeons, hopefully the % will start to increase.

Had a week on the outer Hebrides, small island group off the West of Scotland, they have some stuff up there that we seldom see down here.

I went sea fishing out of Hartlepool at the weekend, there was quite a few of these guys following the boat. They are getting into the habit of stealing mackerel off the hooks. I can see a few disasters happening if they continue. I fear they may take the hook on occasion and could end up harming themselves. Anyway, only had my P & S, annoyed about missing the whole reflection, but photography was not my primary concern that day, catching cod was.
