Hmmm. If it's hollow it probably is called a prison tree, but I suspect it is a different one to the one I've seen.

Now that you mention it .... it does look a bit like Cactus. Interesting camp spot in the dunes there owned & run by an old surfer who bought the land back when it was worth next to nothing. Has interesting & unique toilet facilities. :)Quote:
