I gave the ole girl a wash the other day, I should clean it more often it certainly looks good when its clean. The ct14 brings the Tyres up really well too.
I also gave her a major service yesterday changing all oils, valve set etc etc. I ended up using hi-tec oils gear oil this time round, its a semi syn 75-90 API gl4 and I can get it at a great price. First impressions are good certainly feels smoother on the changes. Hopefully tomorrow I can finish a few odds and ends and start putting the sound proofing in the cab.
Next weekend should be a busy one, I am planning on getting my sliders done, battery relocation and some tanks fabbed up should be a good outcome.
Looks better dirty :p
Looks pretty ;)
Tyre Shine is where it's At bud!!!
it is a great looking vehicle. The Aus pick-up flatbed style is completely different to the normal our here. Saw a few cruiser pick-ups in Zambia imported from Aus and they looked great.
Another bit of an update. I have starting put the insulation in so have all the interior out apart from the drivers seat. I have sand blasted any mounting brackets I have come across and painted them. I also gave all the console and plastic work a good clean.

I wish I had more time though lol. I spent the long weekend making a start on my sliders. These are a little different, I am using aluminium and when they are complete will be just as strong as steel items at about a 1/3 of the weight. Its an aircraft grade aluminium and some thought out bracing and mounts which make the strength.

These are how the sliders are mounted onto the chassis.

And this is the passenger side nearly complete. I need to throw in a couple more braces between the tubes and then I will box them up :)

I like those sliders fits nicely and looks smart
Sliders look good mate! How can you say they are as strong as steel? Even if they are engineered differently, surely the same design made from steel would be stronger?
Cheers
