Haha nice work!
We've got a kickass stereo in our cave now. Car stereo, amped speakers and a sub running off 3 old car batteries connected to a charger.

Sounds great - I'm on the same path - car head unit, connected to 12v battery with iPod player, and then connected to these bad boys ..

Ohhhh yeeeeaaahhh !!!!!! lmao
Neighbours are gunna love you Scotty hahahahahahahaha
Tap, Tap.......Who's there?
Head units only usually put out 50W per channel though wouldn't those speakers be severely under powered?
Nothing a good amp wont fix :). Cant wait to see this joint at the end of the month.
Amps draw a shit load of power though, we only get about 6 hours out of ours before it runs flat and that's with 3 batteries and a charger.
You can run the head unit through a 240v amp with RCA cables so as long as there is power in the shed we are set :)
Yeah we were gonna go down that path but a decent amp was too expensive, we already had all the 12V gear
Could get an inverter to run the 12v amp from 240v
