They are great ovens for roasts , I have a planet number 2,, even have the original hot plate tool
I'll grab a pic when its brighter, Paid $200 from Ebay
That one looks brand new, always wondered what that thing on the top did, plate warmer???
air -set is cheap is it a Modern one can't remember seeing fire bricks in the old 1940s ovens
great buy BTW
Yeah the air-set cement is cheap. I think here are 8 fire bricks in this model. The water jacket has a split in it but that is easily fixed if we decide to run hot water out of it.
This is the model http://rayburncookers.com.au/identifymodel3.html
Heres mine ,all I did was pop some alloy checker plate to each end as it wont be bricked in
for $200 with the water jacket you cant go wrong. need to hunt around for some old tin loaf tins
and bake some fresh bed on the weekends,
I bought a new Engel.
60 litre fridge freezer.
My boss cocked up and we got stuck with them so I got it for $935.00 brand new.
I think this is a good price.
Bought a Waeco CFX50 came with bag and other bits n pieces from the Perth caravan & camping show this arvo.
