How long would the actual crossing take? Heard of peoe rushing it in two days. Just an idea but if we need to split into two groups, have one group leave the day before. Then we could do something like drive for a day, rest for a day. That way we could spend every second night as an entire group. Just a thought.
Any dates are fine with me, once it's set I will apply for leave.

Given the dates above then i would think someone will be starting early or others will be finishing late??
SA, WA and the Bloody ACT! start a week later than Vic NSW and QLD. Do we ask everyone from there to come a week before the holidays or do Vic NSW and QLD hang around home a week.??

Won't need lockers mate... A stock patrol should be able to do the crossing with some decent ATs or MTs.
I'm not talking from experience though, just what I have heard from others.
