Yep we have come a fair old way, the new ones weigh less, use less power and actually work as lights! Little bit of progress for sure! 500kg of bar work, wouldn't affect the handling much [emoji12]

Back in the day Cibie super Oscars were the lights to have , I still have a set here.
If anyone had Cibie Turinos well they were just showing off, I think most had 6" Hella
which were STD options on a XW/XY GT. Look at the price of HID driving lights
they were $2500 a pair you can buy a set of 7" HID 35 watt for $150 these days.
