Me too....
Hi all
Been 5 weeks in Tas and today met up with Tassie Wombat and family
Had a good long chat and a coffee and a couple of beers.
As we are traveling around Tas for 3 months he offered us a place to service or repair any damage to our equipment and also a overnight camp.
This i feel is very generous and says a lot for members who have never met or know any thing about us.
As we are camping remote most of the time service is very limited so i will endeavor to do a report on our adventures when we get home
Also a thank you to Macca for his PM which thanked me and others who gave advice for his Canning trip. Pleased that he and his companions enjoyed their adventure
G`day Lucas
we have spent 5 weeks doing the NE and East coast down to Hobart
Mainly free or bush camping with the odd c/v park to do a bit of washing.
So far only had 4 days of what we might call bad weather
Its been a fantastic trip so far and we are not going to see every thing this time around so will be planning a future trip to do what we mis out on this time
Yeah cool. Very nice beaches down that side. Are you going down to eagle hawk neck? Id also recommend visiting MONA (museum of old and new art)
Camped at Foresque Bay for 3 days drove every track on the map. Spent three quarters of a day at pt Arthur and can say it was value for money and if anybody is going there allow a full day. the coal mines is worth a visit as is Remarkable caves and all the spot at Eaglehawk Neck where you can get the best pies we have had so far
And leaving my favorite till last, the west:-)
In the morning we are heading South to Cockle Creek for a few days the it will be back up the east side of the lakes to Launceston then back down the Western side of the lakes and across to Strahan and then North to Gods country
Hopefully we can catch up I will let you know where we are when we have service
