FWIW Philstar: It’s Tassie run in adventures were almost all off turbo rpm, wiggling through Australia’s most epic slow tracks. W2A IC water temps were lucky to sneak above 30C on the tracks and say 45C back to the SOT ferry. [emoji3554]
My bestest guesstimations of IC water pressure at those temperatures would be circa 5psi which appears to not leak as tested.
Heading full stink thousands of kms up to, across sand and back again should see water temps within reach say 70C, guesstimating yet again circa 10psi ++.

Fabricated another custom bracket to mount the Codan HF radio, time consuming and converting ideas into reality - came out well, mounted above the SS water tank behind the rear seat headrest.Attachment 88015Attachment 88016
Looking at the images, think I will take an angle grinder to the stiffeners and make them a better angled profile - not so likely to catch a head or arm I think.
Geez mate, that thing behind someone's head is a death sentence! What is the purpose of that anyway?
My son's school holds Olympic Games every year. Look which country his class is playing for this year...

Its a mounting bracket for a Codan HF radio. Its mostly behind the headrest, but i am going to chamfer the stiffeners to take away the sharp corner - funny what you dont see when you are making it. It will be getting a cover of foam to some extent, not finished yet. No one sits in the middle seats either. All good.

OK, so the UHF radio goes in the POD as well? I don't think you really thought that comment thru. Maybe i should put the water tank back there as well to save on tire wear on the front wheels? The bracket isn't finished as I have stated already. The HF stays in the cab, where it should be.
