thanks mego wondered how long before you idled by .Also do you have a reference to how high to set your motor as I want to check mine before drilling holes in the leg any assistance would be welcome .
Not sure what you mean.
And I can't show you on my boat, as its 300km away.
I've come back to Melbourne last night to get the AC fixed in the car.
Are you asking how high off the prop to put the foil or how high to bolt the motor on
This is like mine. http://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forum...015/12/213.jpg
As in the relation of the Cavitaion plate on the leg and the bottom most point on your hull .Thinking of one of these Ozhydrofoils http://www.ozpropellers.com.au/alumi...s-40-60hp.html
Not really sure, sorry.
I think it's suppose to level or just above the hull.
The foil looks good.
The foils really make a difference to get up on the plane. Especially when loaded with big fat blokes. Lol. Like me and my mates.
Yesterday I had 4 on it. And it went no where. Lol.
Mega sometimes when there are 4 it's better to go slow so you don't shake the bubbles out of the beverages .Thanks for the help !
Mates son hauled this monster in with the help of some mates

Its a 9ft Leopard shark, after a few pics it was released
Gunna need a bigger boat situation lol
Jacob my nephew went fishing with me and caught his biggest carp.
All on his own, baiting, casting, retrieving and netting the fish. http://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forum...2016/01/59.jpg
Also had a couple of visitors while fishing right where I was sitting. Less than a metre away. http://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forum...2016/01/60.jpg
Just got back from 3 days camping, my brother caught this little beauty this morning, only about 57cms.
The river used to have heaps of cod about 20 years ago until the redfin and crap moved in, the local fisheries have done a brilliant job in removing and controlling the crap and redfin.
Made my day to see them back where they belong.
Even though it was legal we put him straight back.
