South Bassalt Knob used to be a good scary but drivable track but was graded last year.......it's steeeep but flat now (apparently).
The day we do Blue Rag Range could be be a morning run up the High Plains Rd to Blue Rag Range Tk, then back down Bassal Knob Tk, we could go around Brewery Ck Track (views are great, but I've not driven it b4) or continue down Bassalt Knob into Talbotville, around crooked river track, up Bulltown Spur and then back along McMillan Rd to Dargo with an opportunity to have a quick look around the old Grant township site......That is a big days driving.
Second day would be a loop south west of Dargo to Billy Goats Bluff........haven't quite wrapped my bonce around the details of that yet.....would be cool to divert up to Herne Spur Tk and down Wombat Range Tk.......but that is also a massive drive and not sure my kids would be up for something so loong 2 days in a row.
