Myself and my cousin have august booked of already for the same trip. Only it'll be both of our first pilgrimage to the tip. Absolutely cannot wait. It would be good to go up in a group, both of us will be in very well equipped forbies and are mad keen fishermen, not taking a boat as we plan on doing the tough tracks, drop me a reply if you are up for extending the group.
G'evening fellow Cape York travelers!

Hello fellow travelers.
Been a bit quiet on here lately, means we are either all ready or to busy preparing to post. (I'm one of the latter..........)
For me it's 3 MONTHS before I start my trip, 4 MONTHS before we meet up in Port Douglas. It's starting to get colder down here so I'm ready to get moving and met up with you all.
G'day trendsetters,
How is everyone going with there vehicle and camper trailer/tent/accommodation requirements for our Aug Cape York trip?
I am curious to view photos of your vehicle set-up and your accommodation set-up! Also share with us photos of your mods for the trip!
PS, 3 AND BIT MONTHS AND COUNTING!
Regards,
RLI
Slowly getting there fellow travelers.
Definite to do list:
Purchase two batteries
Sort electric brakes issue
Fix two fly-screens
Add a couple of more LED's
Sterilize water tanks
Maybe to do list:
Remove 3way fridge - Put Engel (freezer) in it's place as I'm told standard Dometic fridge is not to flash (any thoughts anyone?)
Consider not taking the BBQ and gas bottle
Remove flip up cupboard
Get fit again
