[QUOTE=thebeatjackson;191022]Replaced all the door trims, fixed the power windows and mirrors, fixed the horn and windscreen washers, removed the old wheel flares to make way for new flexy flares, removed the roof basket so I can fit it into my mates garage for a service, fit blue LED dash backlights. Good day![/QUOTE
Hi beatjacko...how did it go with the led globes in the dash ?...I bought some from ebay and put the old ones back in because they couldnt shine through the dash...i checked the dash at night before I put it back in and the glow from them was there so they are working but it seems that the markings (speedo increments etc ) would only allow white light ???....today fitted a nice momo woodgrain and leather steering wheel...cheers menace
Spent the day making rear draws and will get round in the next day or so fitting my new compressor and tank and do all the wiring for plugs and fridge and so on..
Pissed off the cheap HID's I got as a gift ( intensions were good ) and put the halogens back in.
Better, instant flood of light. No warm up required, is the only reason for halogens.
Fitted the new cover to my Hannibal roof top tent, fitted the tent up and doh have the cover around the wrong way. I fitted it the same way it came off but didn't think about the fact that as I am swinging the tent to come over the side instead of the back that the cover need to be turned to allow the zips to be access able along the sides and back :/ take it off tomorrow and turn it around so its all good.
Found the source of one of the annoying under dash vibrations. The center panel has the ducting for the vents, and the vents sit within the duct, but I suppose over time the Original foam around the vents becomes weak and doesn't provide the cushioning effect so the duct then has something to vibrate against. Fixed by putting foam tape around the inside of the duct. Annoying noise gone. :)

Victory in the annoying noise department hey , well done!!!!
@ Mego, If you're not happy with the HID, Bi-xenon then look at Phillips range of Halogen lighting all street legal.
