Heres my Big Bowie that arrived this morning this one is only 18.5" OA.
I think the lighter handle suits it better too.
Really need to do my cabinet now, thinking of screwing two branches in a "V" shape
and attaching them to the rear wall then drilling in dowels to support the knives
interesting knives in this shop

Picked up a Cold steel Kuhkri machete on the weekend. My mate wants to do a marathon test with it like they do in the youtube clips haha!! Its only 23" overall length but well balanced and after i use it a couple of times the protective black coating should wear off the cutting edge Attachment 47185
I have the saw back SOGfari version but havent tried it out yet
We might have to find a reason to use the machetes OD lol!
Lolol, need some more firewood. Running very low and the quick grab stuff from the servo they use now is crap, like burning mdf or chipboard, sheetloads of smoke and no heat or coals
Are you allowed to go into a forest over there and cut a trailer load of fallen timber.
Over here you need a permit I think but the closest is Tallarook and that wood is shite to burn
not heat whats so ever
Restricted areas you can but also with a permit and generally only from fallen trees
Never done a sheath of this style but giving it a crack for Geckos monster chopper
