Greco 495 hi boy airless spray gun , tips, and a extended reach pole and a extra 15 m hose, it pays to shop around! I got the 495 800$ cheaper then my first quote. It all certainly put a hole in my pocket lol
Scangauge2 and extended diff/Gbox/tnsfr breather kit
New air filter and MAF sensor cleaner to get her breathing a bit better
Due to my being at supercheap when brad rang to say the water pump was wrong one I had to do some "pissed off purchasing" and bought myself a set of MAXX tracks LOL

I've had the same with my local repco, I take the old part with me when I go in to get the supposedly right part swapped to the actual right part. They generally look at you with a confused, stunned mullet look. Eeeeeeerrrrr but the pooootah says it's the right one. Not a chance in hell mate.
Been keepin all my fuel economy/power figures with every modification I am doing and its starting to show. all good but looking forward to installing a new patroldocta stainless steel air box for the Gu. Just started using vortex diesel - not convinced it will up the economy but will be doing the economy figures over a few tankloads as with the new airbox mod.Attachment 51023
Bought a set of these today, hopefully they are as good as everyone says. Should be hear in a couple of days.

They are $$$ but after comparing standard airbox with the billet alloy lid air improvement kit $350 and those annoying clips trying to open the airbox .... agh!
It'll be worth it.
Always trying to improve my camp lighting, this is my latest set up.
The twin lights will fit onto the front centre pole of our tarp.
the black one will attach itself to a tree with a bracket I've made with a coach screw, this light will be powered with a small 18ah battery
The twin either via the AUX battery in my Patrol or via the battery box.
These lights put out heaps of light and draw bugger all power, cheap as chips too,
IMO the round are better, avoid the magnified lens its crape
Ordered a new air compressor today since mine died on Saturday.
Got a Dr Air
It should last longer than the last one hopefully
Nothing too spectacular, just a lamb roast and curry sausage meat. Made sausage rolls for lunch tomorrow.
rda slotted and dimpled front brake rotors and pads, has needed doing for a bit but have bit the bullet now.
Ordered UFI 18G Turbo kit ....
I knew I should have gotten the 3 pod window column housing (EGT, Boost and direct read water temp)
Upgrade the clutch and the end of the upgrade list is now at least on the horizon ..
Bought some more dynamat and high density closed cell foam insulation. Hopefully it arrives before the weekend. Planning on ripping out the roof lining and sound proofing it. Will also take the opportunity to properly fill the sills with penetrol. Then when I can be bothered, I'll make a new roof liner that I can just unbolt easily.
I take it you can have the Patrol off the road for a few days, good time to run some spare wires for any future mod you may think of.
Looking forward to your report, as I'd love to sound proof mine as well,
In YO do you think dyna matting the roof will make it much quieter?
Is 36 squ ft enough or do you need more ,this stuff is expensive
Floor area , doors /roof.
With my other 4x4 I just shoved some acoustic batts down the 1/4 panels
worked a treat
The stuff is expensive and the majority of my floor and doors is already done. 36square feet will be more than enough to do the entire roof section and I reckon it will make a massive difference, especially when combined with the closed cell foam. There isn't much in terms of sound proofing in the roof. When I did just the firewall the difference in engine noise was amazing. Well worth ripping the dash out and doing it properly.
Bought this on Friday. Just need a shed I can really call my own and make it a permanent fixing.
