I've had the same with my local repco, I take the old part with me when I go in to get the supposedly right part swapped to the actual right part. They generally look at you with a confused, stunned mullet look. Eeeeeeerrrrr but the pooootah says it's the right one. Not a chance in hell mate.Quote:

Always trying to improve my camp lighting, this is my latest set up.
The twin lights will fit onto the front centre pole of our tarp.
the black one will attach itself to a tree with a bracket I've made with a coach screw, this light will be powered with a small 18ah battery
The twin either via the AUX battery in my Patrol or via the battery box.
These lights put out heaps of light and draw bugger all power, cheap as chips too,
IMO the round are better, avoid the magnified lens its crape

Bought some more dynamat and high density closed cell foam insulation. Hopefully it arrives before the weekend. Planning on ripping out the roof lining and sound proofing it. The stuff is expensive and the majority of my floor and doors is already done. 36square feet will be more than enough to do the entire roof section and I reckon it will make a massive difference, especially when combined with the closed cell foam. There isn't much in terms of sound proofing in the roof. When I did just the firewall the difference in engine noise was amazing. Well worth ripping the dash out and doing it properly.
