Whos the lucky girl then glad things are looking up for you
Thelma has been going well, 380,000 ks, and still purring. Put an extra 'O' ring under the oil cap and managed to reduce more of the oil mess over the engine and across the intercooler so a new cap will be on the shopping list. My leather steering wheel cover shredded and 15" covers are rare - still waiting for the new one. Built another driver seat back cover, seems getting in and out of the wagon wore the old one out. Good thing I made them as separate parts (seat and back). All is good.
sounds like the old girl is going well and behaving, good to hear.
Bought the catch can, and a shim, then found a man... it's still on my 'to do' list. Having a workshop with the lads at my place soon, but I plan to grease the axles at that event. See if we have time for the catch can.
You know Roofy, your memory is supposed to fade when you go silver!?!
Hi all, been a tadd busy with life. So here is a quick update. Thelma is presently in the shed with the gearbox on the floor, the clutch bearing froze about the same time the alternator pully sh1t itself. Both noises conflicted and we couldnt identify the problem until I lost power. New alternator on the side of the road... then the other noise/scream could not be identified until she stalled when I was reversing the trailer into the shed and the scream synched with the clutch... so she will get all new fluids, filters and a grease up while she is resting up.
PS. My new husband passed away in July 2014, just a year after the wedding, lung cancer, so I hit the road and just worked. Thelma has done 560,000 ks and is starting to show her age.
Piloting went slow so I bought a trailer and have been moving odd ball stuff around Australia from/to out of the way places. Rescued this from the Nullarbor Roadhouse last week.

Good you see you're back, I wondered what happened to you (and several others).
Condolences on the passing of your husband.
Doing well girl. Enjoy the travel you get and the well earned rest that you also deserve.
