Love the rabbit photo, the flies are so clear in the photo. Amazing.
We do have hares down here too.
They are not in plague proportions like the rabbits and not considered a problem as they are not destructive.

1/2000 second @ F4.0!
One of these days I'm gonna have to get myself a better camera.
Love the crispness & detail you get of the action.
Thanks mate.
To be honest, you really need the good stuff for action like wildlife/sports etc. Bodies that can handle high ISO to get the high shutter speed you need, you also really benefit fron what are called fast primes, the 300 and 500 F4 for example. The F2.8s are ok but bloody heavy for handholding.
I have sold one of my cameras and lenses and got a Panasonic GX7 micro 4/3 system, love the size of it, really easy to carry about but is something I will have to learn how to use properly,it is totally different to my Nikon stuff.
over here rabbit use to be called underground mutton,
most families grew up after the war eating rabbit stew or roast rabbit,
a pair was only a few dollars, now after the Caliscii virus they are farmed for human consumption
and cost a fortune. Luckily the Virus didn't wipe them all out.
We don't eat hares but some migrants do
I have dads camera a Minolta x700 I think it is still brand new.
it has a few lens to go with it, but I don't even think you can get film developed any more
well not the normal places
A mates sister was married recently and had 60's theme, so Pete took photos with his film camera. Don't know how he had them developed but you can still do it.
Eaten a few bunnies when we blew all our wages on recreational activities. Eat a lot of crays and scallops too, ah the good life eh.
Trying to get to grips with my new micro 4/3 Panasonic system, i`m not there yet,but will keep at it:
