The bloody overdue notice was in the post this morning. How ironic.
Received an overdue reminder in the mail today for a parking infringement with all my details correct.
Bit of a surprise as I had not knowingly done the wrong thing - at least not with parking.
On closer inspection the only thing correct about the vehicle was the alleged rego number - wrong make/model and wrong colour.
The dyslexic 'safety officer' as they are euphemistically titled here in Brisbane had managed to confuse'975' and '957'.
Well I suppose this role does not call for an IQ above single digits.
I have lodged an appeal and will see what happens next. And I would really like an apology but not at all sure that will happen.
"Good" that the vehicle description is different from yours. Over here a growing scam are "cloned cars". Someone with a car just like yours (regular daily driver cars) have a number plate manufactured with your numbers (a plate manufacturer crime, for sure) and drive sometime for years with your numbers until the car, that is probably stolen, gets impounded.
In the meantime, traffic fines start to pour over you, and you have to prove its not you...
Back in the angry thread. I'm looking on Faceache for a small cheap car for my Daughter-In -Law. I messaged a few people with a question: Does this car come with a Current Road Worthy Certificate and do you have its service history? I can't get a straight answer from any of them.
Hi. Me yet again. I saw that asbestos was found in coloured sand for kids. Some NSW schools have been shut or limited because of contamination. Yet another deadly product from a country that doesn't care about its own citizens, let alone us! If you've got someone that buys or is in the age range to use that sort of stuff, please check it out.
