I was pissed today that my bike broke down, now I have to buy a new best air cleaner for harley 103, and I had a business meeting that of course I was late for, how infuriating at the most inopportune time :mad::mad:

Haha I nominate this post for most random nonsensical opening post of all time. Not even a dodgy link thrown in. :D
Fresh out of uni, bare minimum English speaking, 20 something year old project managers, coming on-site and telling blokes with 20-40 years of work under their belt what and how to do their job. When told and shown that this or that is not gonna work, they start cracking their diploma as a whip. And yep enormous jobs falling over because their "diploma" mis-calculated by a long shot... Like this morning.
The system has failed.
At least I get a weekend off now :D

I see the Rooftop maps are finally available in digital format. Yay! Then I see you can only use them with Hema software. Booooo!
I guess I'll have to figure out how to convert my paper maps to work with Memory Map one day. There is that scan thread here somewhere. I have pretty much all on Vic on in Topo which is great but Rooftops are great for little bits of info. Apparently it cost $100 per year for Rooftops subscription too. WTF!?
Please do always keep your paper maps onboard Mr Mark Mate, have honestly been let down before with digital formats, I now treat them as a ‘nice to dashboard’ have with underseat real ones + 1.25% focal [emoji23]

Drove up the easy trails of Tallarook and parts of Mt Dissa quickly with my boy today. Warmed up the hubs and low range in a few spots but nothing dramatic worthy of reporting. Fresh mountain forest air and views until next month.
But the rubbish everywhere is unreal!
Mark these words, council, or whatever power management above, putting concrete barriers around every one of these places, is inevitable. It's not your average daily or camper visitor 4x4 weekend warrior variety type rubbish. Fair chunk was your annual tip run type sort of stuff.
Rubble, linen, PC monitors, baby prams, stolen commondoors, burnt cars with police tape everywhere! One of the "low range" tracks there was a full set of Evap air con unit pads thrown to the side...
I drive up these woods 10 or so times a year. I reckon I've seen more shit up there in the last 12 months than I have , in the last 12 years put together...
To the Melbournians wanting to visit these spots, I say do it soon. Writing is on the wall...
That is just the pits. I see grubs hauling trailer loads towards the forest quite often. I have found old bathroom interiors, complete with asbestos backing adhered to the tiles. Its heartbreaking. Councils have to take some responsibility for outrageous tip fees, too.
